Make the move to First Eagle! Switching to a First Eagle Checking account is easy with our simple Switch Kit. We take the worry out of changing financial institutions, and make moving your accounts to First Eagle fast, simple and convenient.
What you need to get started.
If you don’t have an account with First Eagle, you will need to open one before you switch. Click here to complete our easy-access online membership application.
Select the First Eagle Checking Account that best meets your needs – Premier Checking, Essential Checking, Freedom Checking or Simple Checking. Complete the application and fax it to 443-548-8030 or e-mail email@example.com. To apply in person, please visit any First Eagle branch. Once approved, proceed to Step 3.
Set-up direct deposit and automatic payments; complete the following forms:
- Authorization to Transfer Funds – Complete and submit this form to your previous financial institution. This will instruct them to transfer any remaining balances to your First Eagle account.
- Direct Deposit Request – Complete and submit this form to your employer. This authorizes your employer to deposit the amount(s) you indicate into your First Eagle account.
- Electronic Payment Change Request – Complete and submit this form to the merchants and service providers with which you have automatic payments charged from your account. This will instruct them to update your account information. This may include: Mortgages, Cable, Phone, Gym membership, Loans, Insurance, Internet, Gas, Electric, Water, Court-Issued Payments and Account Transfers.

Once your account is set-up with First Eagle, make sure all your checks and payments have cleared your old account and then close it (be sure to shred any old checks and debit card).
